The LG 32LD490 is a very price competitive TV that offers good HD images and BBC iPlayer functionality. It has a moderate color palette but a bit slow in motion processing. LG has offered this model at an instant price drop which gives it an edge versus other large flat screen TVs.

The manufacturers immediately offered this television at an affordable price tag that lets it compete with other higher end flat screen TVs. It is a bit bigger than other flat screen televisions though because it does not use a LED light like others brands. Instead, the LD490 uses a CCFL back light to light up the screen. This also makes the unit slightly heavier than other models.

The TV comes with 3 HDMI inputs that you can use for various media and video gadgets. Connectivity is OK considering the low price. It also comes with a solitary SCART socket.
